2018 Sonoma Zinfandel

Made in the old-school style that made Zinfandel popular in the 1970's, this wine has aromas of crushed violets, blackberries and plums with an earthy hint of pipe tobacco. Black pepercorn and blackcurrent dominate the palate with added notes of toasted coconut and bakers chocolate tannins on the finish. Still young, this wine will reward those who cellar it, it has sufficient structure and fruit density to give the wine an unusually longevity.
